It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown

Tis the season for candy and pumpkins! Dust off those Charlie Brown dvd's and bust out all the cheesy decor!
Saturday was gorgeous and we thought it was a good day to head out to the pumpkin patch. We had heard of a good one called Carelton Farm in Lake Stevens from some friends; you can check out their site here to get all the excellent pumpkin-y info.
We watched pumpkins get shot out of canons, went on a hay ride, trampled through muddy pumpkin fields, looked at a corn maze, and pet some farm animals! All in all it was a good first Halloween pumpkin patch excursion for the Darbster.

And then on Saturday night we cuddled up for some good laughs during the infamous Palin episode of SNL. Even though most of the show was lacking in laughs, it had it's good points. For example, the very hilarious Amy Poehler Palin Rap during Weekend Update. For those of you who missed it, here you go:

How fun! I've never been to the Lake Stevens farm, we've just dabbled at the Snohomish one. Which now sounds totally lame compared to that one. And yeah, SNL wasn't too funny but that rap was hilllarious. My favorite part was "Todd" dancing :)
