28 Feels Old

That's right. Im officially a decade older than I was when I was a senior in high school. Im pretty sure it's all downhill from here ;)
In spite of all that I had a stellar day! I went to lunch with some girlfriends, and dinner with some fam.

A couple of my girlfriends got me mini cupcakes earlier in the day, so Darby helped me celebrate with a candle when we got home. And this is after enjoying some delicious burnt cream at dinner. At least they're mini cupcakes?
Diet starts....now! No wait....NOW! No wait.

Dave and Shawna

Our story begins when Dave and I met in 2001 at the University of Washington. We met, we wooed, and then we wed in September 2004. Woo-Hoo! After college and a wedding we set out to see the world together. Soon a mini-Crompton joined us! Darby was born in February 2008. Dave finished the MBA program at UW in June 2008 and we are all super happy about that. He also became owner of Monet Painting and Remodeling and is quite the busy bee lately. After deciding we make cute babies, we were joined by another mini-Crompton! Sawyer was born in March 2011. We are excited to show our cute lil kiddos this cute lil world.

D-Mommy, do you 'member when I was in your tummy, and got really, really humongous and the doctor took me out of you? It was a long, long time ago. 1/2011

D-Mommy, I'm awake! Get me if you don't want me to pee in my bed! (Calling out to me from her crib after nap). 6/2010

Darby picks up my bra off the floor and says - 'Mama! This humongous!' 4/2010

S-Babbling on to Darby about why we celebrate Easter (and I mean in a super easy kid friendly way, if that's even possible) D-Looks all confused and says - No! It's happy birthday Easter bunny! 4/2010

Getting dressed in the morning and helping Darby put on her shirt, she looks down and says - 'Oh no mommy! Where Darby nipples go?!' 2/2010

S-Darby, what would you like for lunch today? D-Donuts. S-No, can you think of something else? D-Ummmm, chips. And donuts. 11/2009

After returning from the bathroom with Darby at a local restaurant she announced very loudly - 'Mommy poop!' (Actually, I peed, thank you very much)! 10/2009
