It's official...we're sticking around in Bothell a tad bit longer. Our little condo sat on the market for a lovely 6 months with not one offer - but with plenty of no-show agents, agents running super late, or agents just showing up unannounced! As fun as selling is, I can't say I'm not happy it's over! Bah. So here we stay, in our little 882 sq ft 2 bedroom abode :)
But at least we have covered parking...?!
Plus, I admit, I'm a huge fan of NOT having to use quarters for the wash. I like my own machine that I don't have to share with my neighbors. Nothing against my neighbors, of course ;)
(This pic is during our remodel and pre-cabinets - we had just gotten our W/D and fridge. Let's just say I was a bit stoked)And at least we have some cute little parks nearby. Some within walking distance (even if mentioned walking distances include sidewalks only about a quarter of the time).

Darby's favorite is Logan Park, I think. It's where she can joyfully run through a big field with flowers like the little girl in her dreams or something ;)
And dare I say, there is nothing wrong with being a 5 minute drive away from here :
And not only for all the fun shopping the Alderwood Mall provides, but also for Darby's favorite water fountains and the super germy kids play area!
All in all, Bothell isn't so bad! And hey - this is the house where this little stinker joined our fam. What's not to love right?! Right!

Way to be, Pollyanna! There really are a lot of great things nearby, AND *at least* your house is super cute, and *at least* you don't live next to the completely creepies that reside in Seattle proper. Three cheers to that! And we'll have to join you at the germ place sometime. But hopefully not for a long time, assuming this weather will stick around for a while!
I agree with Calley...Nice job Pollyanna! When you're feeling down, just think you could be in your in-laws basement!!! See you feel better already don't you?! Can't wait to play with you and Darby!
Behold the power of positive thinking! Where were you guys going to move to if your condo sold? A little closer to b-town perhaps? We want to move to Washington SO BAD! But we'll settle for a visit-I'll be there the whole month of August starting the 7th. We MUST have a girls get together again-maybe at someone's house so the kids can run around and play? Restaraunts are so overrated! AND let me just say that Darby is ADORABLE-I hope Amelia turns out that cute :)
And that less than 900 sq ft home is absolutely GORGEOUS now that you two have fixed it up so nicely!
No worries, you shall live closer to me someday. Perhaps around the time I start having babies...
